What sets Elite Player Development Academy apart is the philosophy behind the approach. All staff members and instructors are not only players with the ability to demonstrate, but first and foremost teachers of the game committed to player development. Through an educational approach, instructors are well versed in all technical (individual skills) and tactical (decision making) aspects of the game and also understand the methodology of how to teach effectively and efficiently.
Camp Objectives:
Focus will be on continued Technical Development with introduction to tactical awareness. Our emphasis is on players getting as many touches on the ball as possible and providing plenty of opportunities to score goals. This is achieved through a small-sided game-based approach (3v3, 4v4, 6v6, 8v8) and small-sided teaching games. Our Academy staff will also provide soccer-related objectives that cover all aspects of the game each day of the Academy/Camp.
What to Bring:
Cleats, Tennis Shoes (in case of rain), Ball, Water, Snack and Sunscreen.

All Academy/Camp Sessions will be held at the Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex

◊ 7/22-25/13 Goalkeeping Academy (8-17 year olds)

YMCA Member: $100 Non-Members: $145
**Registration closes one week prior to Academy/Camp start date.
Academy/Camp Fees:
Registration fee depends on what session attending and if a YMCA Member or Non-Member. The fee includes a ball, t-shirt and professional instruction.
Refund Policy
Refund will only be issued if a program is cancelled by the YMCA.
- In case of an illness or injury necessitating withdraws; the amount of refund will be at the discretion of the Soccer Director.
- If a participant drops out of a program before the start of the program, a refund will be given minus the cost of the program supplies and a $15.00 registration fee.
