Capital City Streaks have stellar performance at Halloween Blast

The Montgomery YMCA Capital City Streaks participated in the Halloween Blast Soccer Tournament in Fairhope, Al on October 22-23.  The Streaks sent six teams to the tournament; U9 Boys, U10 Boys, U10 Girls, U12 Girls-White, U12 Girls-Blue, and U12 Boys.  Each of these teams advanced to the semifinal matches and three of them ended up as Champions!  The U10 Boys, U12 Girls-Blue, and the U12 Boys all came home with Championship trophies.  We are extremely proud of all of our teams!  Congratulations to everyoner!!!

U15 Girls Finish as Finalist at the Florabama Shootout

Congratulations to the Montgomery YMCA Capital City Streaks U15 Girls for a terriffic 2nd place finish at the Florabama Soccer Showcase September 18th-19th, 2011.  They started off with a 0-0 tie versus FC Dallas 96 Girls Red from Emerald Coast United.  The girls quickly followed that game up with a 1-0 win over the Lady Ambassadors from Briarwood Soccer Club.  This win gave the Montgomery YMCA Capital City Streaks an automatic bid for the finals where they played FC Dallas 96 Girls Red again.  During a hard fought game the girls battled, but unfortunately came up short and lost 3-0. 

Congratulations to all the Montgomery YMCA Capital City Streaks U15 Girls for their terriffic weekend of play.
